SoCAL NAHRO

NAHRO Southern California Chapter is looking for professionals who are dynamic and passionate about housing and community development. We are encouraging individuals with insight and good ideas to get involved in making contacts and forming relationships to create a larger world in the field of housing - one that has new opportunities, resources, and relationships to make us all more effective, efficient and adaptable in this fast-changing field.

We strive to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of members and to facilitate an exchange of views. It is important that we communicate effectively with our members, media, government, and others concerning issues related to housing and community development. We monitor and advocate for relevant federal, state, and regulatory issues that impact housing and community development. Also, we develop, analyze, and disseminate current information about housing and community development.

Our Work

The purpose of the NAHRO is to be the leading housing and community development advocate for the provision of adequate and affordable housing and strong, viable communities, particularly those with low-and-moderate-incomes, and to enhance the professional development and effectiveness of NAHRO’s members. As the SoCAL NAHRO Chapter, we work with other organizations to develop coalitions and collaborative efforts to accomplish NAHRO’s mission.
